Our Story
Centreville
Baptist Church was formally born at the end of the Great
War, in the winter of 1918. A small group of people in the
community who had been gathering together for prayer and
worship under the leadership of the pastor of First
Cornwallis Baptist Church decided to build their own
building and create their own congregation. Centreville
remained a part of the First Cornwallis Baptist pastoral
field until 1974.
In 1996, the congregation moved from its location in the
centre of the village where all the roads cross, to a plot
of land donated by Lloyd and Kay Murray, on Murray Drive.
Following further growth, the congregation built on to their
facilities in 2006. |
